CLUB CELEBRATE ITS INSTALLATION DAY FOR YEAR 26-27

Rotary Club of Hoshiarpur Midtown hold its installation Ceremony for Rotary Year 2026-27 at Hotel MAHARAJA PALACE, Hoshiarpur. Rtn. DGE 2027-28 Vijay Sahdev was the Chief Guest as well as Installation Officer. Distt. Secretaries Rtn. Surinder Multani & Rtn. Vikas Grover accompanied Chief Guest. Rtn. Rakesh Kapoor & Rtn. Inderpal Singh Sachdeva were elected as President & Secretary of the Club for Year 2026-27. Rtn. Avtar Singh welcomed the Installation Officer & started the proceedings. Rtn. Inderpal Singh Sachdeva Past Secretary reported the details of project done during Year 2025-26. President Rtn. Avtar Singh alongwith Chief Guest distributed the awards to the members for their best cooperation and work done in previous year. Color is exchanged by Installation Officer from past President to new president and gave his best wishes for next year. President Rtn. Rakesh Kapoor accepted the new assignment. Chief guest addressed the members & gave his full support in his tenure.

CLUB CELEBRATED ANNAPURNA DAY - KARYANA GOODS DONA

Rotary Club Hoshiarpur MidTown celebrated Annapurna Day by donating 350 Kg Ration goods viz. Wheat flour 100 Kg and 50kg Channa daal, 50 Kg Black Channa, 50 Kg. salt, 50 Kg. Sugar, 50Kg Bessan & two Tins of Refined Oil to Dhan Guru Ram Dass Langar Sewa Society (Regd) , Purhran, Hoshiarpur for distribution of langar. It is pertinent to say that this langar society daily distribute langar on daily basis in more than 10 major cities of Punjab through a fleet of more than 40 vehicles. Our Club starts its New Rotary Year 2026-2027 by donating flour & daal cereals for distribution of langar by this society

CLUB ENLIGHTENED EYES OF A CORNEAL BLIND PATIENT

Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Midtown (26559), Rotary Distt.3070 alongwith Plano Metro Rotary Club, Plano, Texas, USA enlightened the eyes of a corneal blind patient Smt. Parmjit Kaur 50 years old of Khadoor Sahib,Distt. Tarn Taran Punjab 143401 under Project Corneal Transplant "Mission Gift of Sight". Corneal Transplant was done by Dr. Rohit Gupta, Tricity Eye Hospital, Mohali, Punjab on behalf of Guru Ka Langar Eye Hospital, Sector 18-B, Chandigarh, Punjab, India under MOU signed between the Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Mid Town(3070), Rotary Club of Plano Metro, Plano Texas, USA (5810) and Guru Ka Langar Eye Hospital, Sector 18-B, Chandigarh, Punjab. Transplants are done totally free of costs of operation, Cornea and cost of medicines for the patients. It is 783th Corneal Transplant By the Club under its Flagship Project “ Corneal Eye Transplant under Mission Gift of Sight” after COVID 19 & 1243th since the start of this Project.
